Forged Flanges

This category includes all flanges, which are produced through a while hot- or cold forging process.

For the while hot-forging the pieces reach high temperatures, in order to be wrought with trip hammer or press, giving the needed shape to the flange without breaking it. It is often used the pressing technique: in this way, the flange will be realised with a press with moulds, in order to obtain semifinished products, which could be completed with the turning technique later on.
