The weld fitting is characterised by three well-known items’ typologies, which derive from the manufacturing of pipes and metal sheets: bends, tees and reducers.
The bend is a part of moulded pipe, which joins two straight segments of pipes, forming a 45°, 90° or 180° angle.
The T fitting, which is generally called tee, is a part of pipecomposedofthreeextremities, which allow the joining of two flows in just one or the split of one in two different flows. The reducers allow the connection among pipes of different diameter in the same line. They can be concentric or eccentric.
